In Finance one of the key areas we focus on is driving the company’s performance and growth. We work with cross functional teams and are usually involved in most projects and initiatives. No two days are ever the same with Unilever.

Meet Veronica Wu; Product Manager Data & Analytics

As a Product Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the success of product delivery. You are involved in every step along the journey, from product ideation, resourcing, solution design, mapping out user stories, product development, testing to product launch and post go-live support. You also play a key role in communicating with stake holders, SMEs and engineers to keep the objective aligned and everything on track.
What do you like the most about your role?
What excites me most about my role are the opportunities for development. I not only improve my professional skills to continue to develop my coding skills and to use cloud technologies and services but also learning from the business. As a Product Manager, I work cross functionally to understand how the business operates more in depth.
What is your purpose?
My purpose as it relates to my work is to enable business decision making and processes to become more transparent and efficient by leveraging quality data, machine learning algorithms and advance analytics. This cannot be achieved by myself alone, is a collaborative effort amongst Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analysts and many other teammates.
